Safety & Usage Instructions
**WARNINGS**
All CORNINGWARE Tableware components are breakable. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury or property damage.
- NO stovetop, pilot light, heat vent, broiler/griller, microwave browning element or toaster oven use.
- DO NOT ADD liquid to a hot dish, place hot dish on a wet or cool surface, or handle with a wet or cold cloth.
- DO NOT use to microwave popcorn or to hold or support popcorn bags, microwave convenience foods with special browning wrappers, etc. Some convenience food packaging is designed to heat rapidly in a microwave oven and may cause breakage.
- DO NOT heat an empty vessel in a microwave oven. It may become to hot to handle, crack or break.
- DO NOT heat small amount of food in a larger dish in a microwave oven. It may become to hot to handle, crack or break.
- DO NOT use or repair any item that is chipped, cracked, or severely scratched.
- DO NOT abuse by dropping or hitting against a hard object.
- Place on placemat or tablecloth to avoid scratching surfaces. The bottom of the ceramic items may be rough.
- Always use a potholder when handling a hot vessel.
- DO NOT use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or any object that will scratch tableware.
**USES**
For serving, warming and re-heating food in microwave, preheated conventional and convection ovens. Some accessories may not be appropriate for microwave use. Microwaveable products are indicated on bottom of items.
**CARE**
Wash by hand or in automatic dishwasher. Load dishes to avoid bumping against other items during cycle. To remove gray or rust marks, clean with non-abrasive cleanser. Ceramic tableware should not be soaked. Absorbed water creates uneven heating temperatures that could cause crazing or cracking.
